Basic Obedience

In Basic Obedience class, dogs will learn: "With-me", "Heel", "Sit", "Down", "Come", "Sit-
Stay", and "Down-Stay".  Additionally, we will cover any problems each client may be having
with their dog.  Dogs must be at least 6 months old to enroll in this class, unless evaluated by
    the trainer.

Take advantage of training at your convenience!  For $80.00 you get two months of training
to complete 5 levels.  All levels are taught every Saturday.  Join in at the time and
pace that best suits you and your dog.

This flexible approach to training resumes Saturday November 21, 2009, excluding holidays.

Advanced Obedience Class
Advanced Obedience Class runs for six consecutive weeks. In this class you and your pet will
fine-tune your knowledge. This class gives you the tools to work your pet off leash as well as
learn a “Climb”, or “My Place.”

Agility I and II
Agility Training will have you and your dog running, jumping, weaving and teetering through a
series of obstacles and jumps.  Classes run six weeks and park members have access to the
training yard all during the week to practice.

Puppy Socialization
Puppy Socialization classes are held on Saturdays from 9am - 10am for four consecutive
weeks.  In this class each puppy learns socialization skills, walking on a leash, "Sit" and
"Come".  Potty training, proper play, separation anxiety, crate training, jumping, barking, and
biting are addressed.  Puppies must be 6 months or younger.

Flyball
In this six-week beginner class the dogs will be taught how to properly use the box, do turns,
as well as jumps. Passing will not be covered in this first class.

Rally-O
Rally, the newest addition to AKC Companion Events, is a sport in which the dog and handler
complete a course that has been designed by the Rally judge.  The judge tells the handler to
begin and the dog and handler proceed at their own pace through a course of designated
stations (10 - 20 depending on the level*).  Each of these stations has a sign providing
instructions regarding the next skill that is to be performed.  Scoring is not as rigorous as
    formal obedience.

Private Consultation
Private consultations of one hour are held at the convenience of both the client and trainer,
during which any issues the client is having with the dog will be covered.
